Dearest Dad, you taught me so much - not least your kindness, compassion and unending love. You gave me the happiest childhood with lovely memories of you building sandcastles, boats and cars and paddling with me. You were patient, gentle and full of love. I miss you so much, especially on this my first birthday without you - love you so much dad, you were an amazing father and I’m so glad you were mine xx
